22 October 2023: Withdrawal from SPSA and SPL with immediate effect 

We, the Next Level Poker Sports Club
announce the withdrawal from the Swiss Poker Sports Association (SPSA) and their Swiss Poker Leage (SPL) with effect as of immediate. 

How our club will continue will be decided in the future. As of per now, we will remain as an independent Poker club. 

27 May 2023: Big dreams busted. 

It wasn't meant to be. The disappointment is immense, after a great season, where we never left the top 4, and a good starting point for the finalissima as the 2nd ranked, only to be demoted to the 3rd place in the Shootout. It hurts really bad. 

We want to thank all our fans and supporters who cheered for us! You were fantastic. 

And kudo's to the team who supported the low-variance strategy and subordinated their own style of playing to the greater interest of the team. Thank you for your trust!

And last but not least a big thank you to all our rivals. We developed beautiful friendships and we were always so excited to meet you every 2 weeks to battle. 

Congratulations to the Poker Academy to the title! Well done and well deserved!

13 May 2023: We defend our 2nd place and increase the difference to 3rd

The second last game day was held at the FullEdge Poker Lounge in Pratteln BL and with a great 2nd and 5th place and total 19 points we defended our 2nd place well and increased the difference to 3rd. Still everything is possible... we will not give up and fight for the 1st place to end the season!

29 April 2023: We reduce the gap to 1st

The 18th gameday was held in a shopping center, Tivoli, in Spreitenbach ZH. With a 3rd and a 7th place our team did well and could close the gap to 1st place by a couple of points. with only 4 points in behind, we are 2nd and in best position to attack the last two game days of this season. Go team, go!

15 April 2023: We defend our 2nd place 

For the 17th gameday we found ourselves at the "Men's World" Convention in Zürich. For a long time we had two chipleads on the table, but in the end it didn't work out. However, with a 3rd and 5th place we were able to clearly defend our 2nd place in the overall ranking. Go on team! 3 times and we will know who the winner of the season is!

01 April 2023: A day to forget

The 16th game day led us to Fullring Poker in Wallisellen, and unfortunately it didn't go so well. With a 4th and a 9th place we had to hand over the ranking lead to the Poker Academy, and we are currently on 2nd place. We will come back next time!

18 March 2023: Back as the ranking leader!

In Effretikon-Illnau ZH we succeeded with a 2nd and a 4th place - which didn't bring the victory of the day rating, but it brought us back to the 1st place in the overall ranking. It's close, and only 5 game days remain... good luck, team!

4 March 2023: Defended the 2nd place in the overall ranking

For once it was close for us, as the 14th gameday took place in Berne. With a 3rd and a 10th place it didn't go so well, but yet, we defended the 2nd place overall.

18 February 2023: Back to 2nd place in overall ranking

The 13th gameday took place in Schwyz SZ and we finished 3rd and 5th. This brought us 16 points and with them, we gained back the 2nd place in the overall ranking.

04 February 2023: And we came back with a boom!

With 19 Points we finally got our first day's -best team result. For this, we had to travel to Zug ZG, where we competed in the ring game format. Well done, team!

21 January 2023: Slight downswing - but we will come back!

We had to travel far to the Grison to HSOP in Zizers GR, but it didn't go so well this time for our team. With a 6th and a 7th place we got the 4th most points, but found ourselves at the 4th place in the overall ranking. But nothing is lost, we will attack again next time.

07 January 2023: Good start into the New Year and 2nd half of the season

With two 5th places and total 15 points our team managed to gain back the 2nd place in the overall ranking. Well, done, keep going!

17 December 2022: It's a close race at the top

With a 5th and a 6th place at FullEdge Poker Club in Pratteln BL we are now in 3rd place in the overall ranking, just 1 single point behind the 2nd placed. We keep pushing!

03 December 2022: We take over the ranking lead!

We had to travel far to play the 8th round of the Swiss Casinos Poker League, but it was well worth it. With fantastic 16 points we took over the ranking lead by 3 points. Well done, team!

19 November 2022: We defend the 2nd place in the ranking

With a 6th and a 5th place at the 7th game day in Wallisellen ZH, our team secured the 2nd place in the overall ranking. However, with only 1 point difference at the top of the list, the outcome remains suspenseful!

6 November 2022: TK is the new Swiss Poker Ladies Champion!

Our team manager Tatjana ("TK") played the Swiss Poker Ladies Championships against 40 other ladies and was titled the winner. With that, she won an entry to the Swiss Open in King's Casino in Rozvadov CZ at the end of the month. Congrats and best of luck!

5 November 2022: Solid result in the Swiss mountains

Again we had to travel once across Switzerland to Zizers in the Grishun for the 6th game day. With a 3rd and a 7th place and solid 16 points we stay under the top teams in the Leage A. Keep on going, team. We're doing great!

22 October 2022: We are the raking leader! (Well, together with one of or rivals)

We had to travel once across Switzerland to St. Gallen for the 5th game day. However, it was totally worth it: With a 1st and an 8th place we secured the lead in the overall ranking - well, technically it's a co-lead with one of our rivals, Föif Drüü Poker. Congratulations!

8 October 2022: Back on 2nd place in the SPL raking

With a solid result on the 4th game day of the SPL Swiss Casinos Poker League in Weisslingen ZH at the Poker Club Kings&Queens we gained back the 2nd place in the overall ranking! Well done, team! Go and continue to rock!

From the 3rd SPL Swiss Casinos Poker League Game Day we took away 18 points with a 2nd and a 6th place. This establishes our Team in the Top 3 of the Ranking. Go, Team, go! Keep up the good work!

10 September 2022: Defended our 2nd Place in the SPL Ranking

With 13 points from the 2nd game day we defended our 2nd place in the ranking - with only one point less than the leader. Well done, team!

27 August 2022: 1st Game Day of the new seasons - almost perfect start!

We proudly announce that our team made a 2nd and a 3rd place at the first game day of the new season of the SPL Swiss Casinos Poker League which took place at Föif-Drüü Poker in Illnau-Effretikon. With this fantastic result, we are currently placed 2nd in the overall ranking! What a fantastic start!

The National League A team has met and got ready for the upcoming season which starts on August 27th in the arena of FöifDrü in Effretikon. Please meet our team for 2022/23 here.

22 July 2022: Brain Battle Chess vs . Poker

On July 22nd the Brain Battle Chess vs. Poker took place in scope of the 55th International Chess Festival in Biel. 4 international Chess Grandmaster battled against 4 Swiss National Poker League Player, first in chess and consecutively in poker. The winner is the youngest Swiss chess grandmaster ever, Noël Studer (who is now member of our Poker national league A team), runner up is Gaspare Leone, one of the SPL Poker Players, followed by Harshit Raja, a chess Grandmaster from India. 11 July 2022: National League Team A confirmed

We have confirmed our National League A Team and are looking forward to the launch of the new season on August 27th 2022. 

There are some changes in the team. We want to thank Markus Stiegler and Matthias Walther for their engagement and dedication to the team; unfortunately both have decided to retire from the active team. However, we are happy to announce that with Noël Studer we have a great replacement. As the youngest ever Swiss Chess Grandmaster he already owns more than 10 Swiss champion titles - will he win another one with our team in Poker? Stay tuned!

11 June 2022: Award Ceremony

The Award Ceremony of the season 2020-22 took place in Zürich, the headquarters of the SPSA. Our Team Manager received proudly the price in the name of the whole team.

The new season 2022/23 will start at the end of August but before it launches, we have a project together with the International Chess Festival in Biel-Bienne. More to come - stay tuned!

 28 May 2022: 24rd and last Gameday of season 2020-22. YES, WE MADE IT! We will remain in the National Swiss Poker League A. 

The 24th and last game day of the season 2020-22 of the SPSA Swiss Poker League took place in Cham ZG. It couldn't be more suspenseful. With several teams ending in the same rank after 24 game days, you can only imagine how close it was. But YES, we MADE IT! With a 2nd and a 3rd place we secured the 8th place in the overall and final ranking and will be playing in the National League A of the Swiss Poker League.

14 May 2022: 23rd Gameday - Oops, we did it again - DOUBLE VICTORY

The 23rd (and thus, next to last) Gameday of the SPSA Swiss Poker League took place at Prestige Poker in Dietlikon ZH. Our team rocked with two 1st places! We won maximum points, exactly when we needed them the most. With this extraordinary victory we laddered up the ranking by 2 places and are now in 8th place of 24.

30 April 2022: 22nd Gameday - suspense

The 22nd Gameday of the SPSA Swiss Poker League took place at Queens Poker in Bützberg BE. With two 4th places we were able to defend our ranking in the top 10. With only 2 gamedays to go, the situation is now super tense and suspenseful. If we stay in the top 10, we will be part of the National Leage A in the new season. Otherwise we will have to compete in League B. Wish us luck! 

16 April 2022: 21st Gameday - A cooler just before the finish line

The 21st gameday of the SPSA Swiss Poker League took place at Antoher Poker in Basel. Unfortuntaly we caught a bad run and ended with two 5th places - and only 10 points. WIth this, we can barely hold a top 10 place - currently stuck at rank 9 (of 24 teams)

At the 20st gameday of the SPSA Swiss Poker League in St. Gallen our team finished with two 2nd places and 18 points which made us ladder up one place currently residing on rank 8th of 24.

Der 19. Spieltag der SPSA Swiss Poker League, fand bei 4Bet Poker Sporing in Quartino im Tessin statt und war im Turniermodus. Mit einem soliden 2. und 3. Platz können wir uns weiterhin in den Top 10 behaupten.   

05.03.2022: 18.Spieltag - Verbleib in den Top 10

Der 18. Spieltag der SPSA Swiss Poker League, fand im UG Poker Club in Zürich statt und war im Ring Game Modus. Mit zwei 5. Plätzen konnten wir uns den Platz in Gesamtrangliste unter den Top 10 sichern und sind aktuell auf dem 9. Rang. 

NEWS 19.2.2022: 17.Spieltag - DOPPELSIEG in Bern

Am 17. Spieltag der SPSA Swiss Poker League, der im GPC Bern stattfand, hat unser Team sensationell 2x den 1. Platz belegt und damit 20 Punkte gemacht. Das hat uns in der Gesamtrangliste auf den 8. Platz (von 24) hochgepuscht.

NEWS 6.2.2022: 16: Spieltag - Verteidigung des 9. Platzes (von 24).

Der 16. Spieltag der SPSA Swiss Poker League fand in Zug statt. Es wurde Ring Game Modus gespielt. Mit einem 3. und einem 5. Platz sicherten wir uns 12 Punkte und damit den 9. Platz (von 24) in der Liga.

NEWS 22.1.2022: 15: Spieltag - Verbleib in den Top 10 - auf Platz 9 (von 24).

Der 15. Spieltag der SPSA Swiss Poker League fand bei Rounders Pokersport Club in in Regensdorf statt. Mit einem 4. und einem 7. Platz sicherten wir uns 9 Punkte und damit den 9. Platz (von 24) in der Liga.

NEWS 8.1.2022: 14. Spieltag - Heimspiel und Verbleib in den Top 10 (Platz 8).

Der 14. Spieltag der SPSA Swiss Poker League fand bei Another Poker in Basel statt. Mit einem 2. und einem 6. Platz sicherten wir uns 12 Punkte und damit den 8. Platz (von 24) in der Liga.

Der 11. Spieltag der SPSA Swiss Poker League fand beim PC Full Ring in Wallisellen ZH statt. Mit unserem Team holten wir 13 Punkte. Damit sind wir erneut hochgestiegen in der Tabelle und befinden uns nun auf dem 6. Platz. 

NEWS 06.11.2021: 10. Spieltag - 2 x 2. Platz und neu auf dem 7. Tabellenplatz (von 24)! 

Der 10. Spieltag der SPSA Swiss Poker League fand bei HSOP in Zizers GR statt. Mit unserem Team erspielten wir zwei 2. Plätze und holten 16 Punkte. Damit sind wir erneut hochgestiegen in der Tabelle und befinden uns nun auf dem 7. Platz, nur 1 Punkt vom 6. Platz entfernt. 

NEWS 27.10.2021: 9. Spieltag - Aufstieg auf den 8. Platz in der Gesamtrangliste.

Der 9. Spieltag der SPSA Swiss Poker League fand in Effretikon ZH statt. Unsere zwei Spieler haben sensationell einen Platz gut gemacht in der Gesamtrangliste mit einem 1. und einem 5. Platz und total 15 Punkten. Neu befinden wir uns im oberen Drittel mit dem 8. Platz in der Gesamtrangliste.

NEWS 12.10.2021: 8. Spieltag - Verteidigung des 9. Platzes in der Gesamtrangliste.

Der 8. Spieltag der SPSA Swiss Poker League fand in Dietlikon ZH statt. Unsere zwei Spieler haben den 9. Platz verteidigt mit einem guten 3. und 6. Platz und total 11 Punkten.

NEWS 26.09.2021: 7. Spieltag - wir machen einen Platz gut in der Gesamtrangliste.

Der 7. Spieltag der SPSA Swiss Poker League fand in Bern statt. Unsere zwei Spieler haben sensationell einen 1. und einen 5. Platz herausgeholt. In der Tagesrangliste wurden wir 5, aber wichtiger noch: In der Gesamtrangliste haben wir uns einen Platz verbessert und sind nun auf dem 9. Platz (von 24) und nur 2 Punkte hinter dem 8. Platz. Wir bleiben dran.

NEWS 12.09.2021: 6. Spieltag - wir verkürzen den Rückstand auf die nächsten Teams

Der 6. Spieltag fand in St. Gallen statt. Unsere zwei Spieler haben je den 4. Platz gemacht und jeweils 6 Punkte geholt, total 12. In der Tabelle sind wir weiterhin auf Platz 10, haben aber den Rückstand auf die nächsten vor uns in der Tabelle verkürzt und arbeiten daran, bald den einen oder anderen Platz gut zu machen. NEWS 29.08.2021: 5. Spieltag - 10. Platz verteidigt

Die Liga wurde von 10 auf 24 Mannschaften erhöht und es gab Anpassungen in der Punkte Vereilung. Unsere zwei Spieler haben je den 5. Platz gemacht und jeweils 5 Punkte geholt, total 10. Es befinden sich weiterhin die 10 ursprünglichen Teams auf den Plätzen 1 bis 10, die ihre bisherigen Punkte mitnehmen konnten. Allerdings hat es einige neue Mannschaften, die dicht auf den Fersen sind! Den SPSA Spielbericht findet Ihr hier.

NEWS 24.08.2021: Next Level Poker Sports Nationalliga A Team steht fest

Die Nationalliga A Mannschaft ist aufgestockt und wir sind ready für den Saisonstart am 28. August. Updates zum Team findet Ihr hier. Neu im Team: Simon Widmann, Markus Kuster, Björn Bur und Jean-Daniel Pessina. Herzlich Willkommen und gute Hände!

NEWS: Aktuell auf dem  dem 10. Platz nach 4 Spieltagen

Unsere Nationalliga A Mannschaft hat sehr erfolgreich in die Saison gestartet, aber ist danach etwas ins Stoplern geraten. Wir sind aber zuversichtlich, dass wir den Downswing bald wieder auffangen können.
